I wasn’t having any idea about what write today. Suddenly I remembered that I went to watch my little friend Sydney, 9 years old, play soccer. It is really cool that here in the United States soccer is a big sport with girls instead of boy like in Brazil. If you go to Brazil, don’t be surprised to see boys playing soccer most everywhere they can. Streets, neighborhood fields, everywhere they can play they will. I used to play for fun when I was a kid, even participated in some championships on my Dad’s team. But it is my brother that is the family’s soccer play, and I can honestly say that he is really very good in that. My Dad was always proud of him on the games, on the championships he would always be the player that most scored goals. My father and my brother love soccer. My brother’s dream was be a professional soccer player, but that is basically the dream of 9 out of 10 boys in Brazil. Dad is the coach of this team builds with some friends, they have games every weekend and they are a good team though. When I was spending time with my parents before come to study here in the United States, I used to go and play some games in my Dad’s team, that is a good thing about being the coach’s son, I could be in the team any time I wanted. But sometimes I would just go watch the games and hang out with the guys after the games, drink some beer, talk, etc. It was always a good time.
