Today was supposed to be just one more day of spring break, quiet at home. Last night, my friend Lisa called and said that the weather would not be nice to us go to Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. I must confess that I went to bed last night a little disappointed. But early in the morning she sent me some text message and said that the weather was supposed to hold on until early evening, and if I was still up to go. I said sure, let’s go have some fun. She said she would pick me up in half an hour. We were ready to go have some fun then. It was about lunch time and the kids were hungry. Preston and Kennedy, my friend’s kids were with us, of course. Then we stopped at McDonald's and got some food. I was very excited, because I do like roller coasters and all the adrenaline in the big rides. Too bad that Sydney wasn’t with us, because she is the oldest of my friend’s kids and she could ride with me in the big ones. I had to ride the big ones alone, but I had so much fun riding the family rides with the kids. I just enjoy those kids so very much. They are adorable kids and Preston is so lovely, but he makes you very tired, trust me. Going to Silver Dollar City was very cool, seems like you are in another age. I was surprised when I found out how old that park is, but I think the age is its charm. The weather that was nice when we arrived there, turned to be bad and made our visit shorter. But we will be back there before I leave for California.
