From Dallas - TX

After 7 hours driving we finally made it to Dallas, Texas around 1am. I was supposed to be tired, but I don’t know why trips don’t make me tired. I think it is because I enjoy it so very much, that I don’t really care if I have to stay in a car for 7 hours or in a plane for 15 hours. One thing that I really enjoy when I am doing a road trip and I am driving, is to stop anywhere I want. I just enjoy so much stop in gas stations in the middle of the nowhere and grab a drink and some snack, check out the scenario around it. Sometimes it is just nothing but country, but still it is really cool for me. I remember this particularly road trip last October. We were going to my cousin’s sweet sixteen, which in Brazil it is when you turn 15 years old, so it is sweet fifteen. Anyway, we had to drive for like 9 hours, it was the best road trip I ever took. First because it was with all my family, second because I was the one driving, so I was able to stop whenever I wanted. I know that pissed off the others cars that were following me. Sometimes Dad wouldn’t even stop; he would call me and say: don’t be late. It was so funny. In my car was, Brother, his girlfriend, sister, her boyfriend and me, was the young car. In another car was Dad, Mom, grandmother and a friend. I was so glad I decided to not leave in July and instead in December, so I got to go to my cousin’s birthday. It was an amazing party, almost perfect, I just missed my friend that could not make it with us there, then would have been the perfect party ever.
