Good Friday

You know, I kind of like writing my journal during the day when I have some free time at the college. Feels good not get home and later at night still have that feeling that I need to write before go to bed. So, as long as I have some free time during classes, I will try and write my journal during the day. Today is Friday, Good Friday for the Christian people. In Brazil it is a federal holiday, here no, so that means I have a full day of classes. I got up today and called Mom just to say a quick hi and check out what she made for lunch. I know that for Good Catholic today you are not supposed to eat meat. Mom said it is all fine there, her aunt is visiting and that’s make Mom very happy. She always complains that her relatives never visit her. Last night was kind of intense, at least for me. I was trying to watch some of my TV shows but all the showed on the TV was the weather and the storms. Lots of tornado warning around Springfield area and seems like at least two tornadoes touched down the ground. This entire severe weather thing is new for me. In result of the storms last night, today is a rainy day. Since I have to ride my bike to the school, I got here all wet and what I am really hoping is that I don’t get a cold. I have so much homework to do this weekend, and I already checked out the English assignment. Seems a big essay but I think I will do well. My biggest problem will pick up just one place. I have so many memories in so many places. But I will work hard on this assignment.
