Internet hang out

The title of this post might sound a little crazy, but that is what I am doing today, Saturday night. Since I had so much homework over the weekend and I have a test Monday and a big one on Tuesday, I decided to stay home and just study. The weather wasn’t good at all to go out anyway. Around midnight I saw some severe storm warning on the TV. So, instead of going out, I just hang out with some friends online. With Internet it is so funny sometimes, and it also allows me to be closer to my friends that I left in Brazil. A hang out on the Internet is basically set up a private chat room, turn on the web cams, microphones, and grab something to drink and some snacks in case you are hungry. When setting up the private chat room, I also set up an online radio with music; electronic music was the theme of the night. Then we start chatting and it feels just like if we were hanging out in some bar or club. We have so much doing that. We share stories; we share the websites we are visiting. They even told me what I should write on my journal. Well, since it is an English language journal, they don’t understand what I write and the noticed that I am not updating my Portuguese language journal. But I am so busy right now that I don’t really have time to do both journals. Anyway, if sometime, specially Saturday night you are feeling a little lonely and won’t go out, try to do the Internet hang out with some friends, it is kind of fun and really make your lonely Saturday night better.
